Bioinformatics Institute


The Bioinformatics Institute (BI) is a research and education centre bringing together biosciences, health sciences, computer science, mathematics, and statistics to understand complex datasets. The Institute is based in the Faculty of Science and affiliated with the Faculty Medical and Health Sciences.

The Bioinformatics Institute contributes to bioinformatics education at the University of Auckland. The Institute also provides facilities for graduate students at the University of Auckland and provides training and support for biological and medical researchers using bioinformatics.
