Bioinformatics is a vital and growing field, which touches on all aspects of biological research.
Research and surveys conducted by the Bioinformatics Institute in 2010 led to the publication of a white paper which, based on a University-wide survey and opinions of international advisors, reviewed bioinformatics activities in New Zealand and made recommendations for future strategy.
